My Requests:

Request 1
Fandom: Jackalope Wives Series - Ursula Vernon
Requested Character: Grandma Harken

Optional Details: I love Grandma Harken. I would love to see any kind of "casefic" similar to the two stories that comprise canon. I would equally love to read about Grandma Harken just quietly living her day to day life with no adventures anywhere in sight, enjoying her home on the edge of the desert in a magical version of the American Southwest. I would love to read anything about her whether it's exploring her past, her present, or her future. Seriously, I'm easy to please. Even if you just give me one thousand words about Grandma Harken having a not-so-epic battle of trying to get Spook Cat out from under the bed, I will devour it with a grin on my face. If you throw in some worldbuilding, I might die of happiness. How did Grandma Harken adjust to human life right after her husband-to-be burned her jackalope skin? When her husband died, did she have any kind of a hand in it? What are her relationshps with the rest of her family like beyond what we've seen? Does sha have more family than mentioned in the stories? What other figures from myth and legend has she met? Does she ever hear from Marguerite again? How did she become friends with Anna and what has their relationship been like through the years? How does Grandma Harken adjust to living with the Cholla-Bone Girl, and what else she find to teach her besides how to make a good tomato sandwich? Does the Cholla-Bone Girl teach anything to Grandma Harken? Is there anything else besides tomatoes Grandma Harken is especially fond of growing in her garden? Did she ever try to grow some particular plant only for either magical or mundane events to make her decide she was never putting that in her garden again? Is there any man, woman, or magical entity she might fall in love with in her golder years who would make her happy and maybe help balance out the rotten marriage she seems to have had earlier in her life? Is there any man, woman, or magical entity who might fall in love with her in her golden years but she isn't interested so she sends them packing? Had she had any pets besides Spook Cat?

Request 2
Fandom: Vide Noir - Lord Huron (Album)
Requested Character: The Narrator, The Emerald Star

Optional Details: This has been my favorite album of 2018 so far. I love both its sound and its touches of the supernatural and cosmic horror and I would love to hear your interpretation of what is going on in it, in whole or in part. I'm familiar with Lord Huron's other albums and EPs and some of (but probably not all? it's hard to keep track of) the lore that the band has built up surrounding their work if you wanted to include any of it, but you can also feel free to ignore all of that and just go with the lyrics from the songs on Vide Noir for your definition of canon. Who or what is the Narrator, and just how reliable/unreliable of a narrator is he? Is he a human who loses his humanity at some point due to things he has done or were done to him? Was he never really human but somehow forgot that important fact? Is his situation something else entirely? Who or what is the Emerald Star? Is she an ordianry woman? Is she a literal star capable of taking human form? Is she some kind of monster, maybe even an eldritch abomination who just happened to be wearing a pretty human skinsuit when the Narrator met her? Did she start out as a human but somehow transformed into something else during her travels? How does her side of the story compare to the Narrator's version of events? Did she ever really love the him and/or try to make him believe that she did, or has she been trying to get away from him since they first met and he can't take a hint to leave her alone? Do the songs of the album relate events in the order they happened? Or have they been scrambled as part of the Narrator being lost in time and/or whatever other weirdness is going on? Has the Narrator gotten himself stuck in a time loop and the end of "Emerald Star" curves right back around to the beginning of "Lost in Time and Space"? What exactly does it mean for a person to get Black Brained, to death or otherwise? Feel free to include the Fortune Teller (she seems like she could be a good outsider POV with bonus psychic insight to help explain whatever the heck is going on if for whatever reason you didn't want to write from the Narrator or Emerald Star's POV) or characters from the Strange Trails or Lonesome Dreams albums or make up OCs to suit your needs. I can't wait to see what you come up with for this.

Request 3
Fandom: Blood Drive (TV)
Requested Characters: Julian Slink, Grace d'Argento

Optional Details: Did they interact at all in the year between Grace agreeing to race and when the main show takes place? Were there qualifying races Grace had to drive in before the main event? Did Slink just show up to annoy her from time to time to make sure his "hand-picked battle bitch" would be ready to put on a good show when the time came? I would also love to see missing scenes from any point in canon, maybe the rest of their "twenty questions for twenty punches" game or Grace (and Arthur if you so choose) having to put up with Slink as a road trip companion. Or insert an extra leg of the race where Grace and Slink have to team up against another threat which, as usual, turns out to be all Slink's and/or Heart's fault. Or maybe this time the monster is Grace's fault somehow. I'd also love to see something post-canon where they both somehow survive, because of course they would have if the show had gotten a second season. If they met up again after destroying Heart Tower, how would their goals have shifted? Would they try even harder to kill each other because they don't have any reason to hold back anymore, or would they have enough built up grudging respect for each other to team up again to go rescue Arthur, or would their reactions be something else entirely?

This is one of my "I love everyone in this bar!" fandoms, so feel free to include whatever other major or minor canon characters you want, whether they're in the tag set or not, because they're all entertaining, or make up OCs to fill supporting roles. I'd prefer Grace and Slink's relationship remain gen, with no sex/romance. For potential background ships, I like Slink/Rasher, Grace/Arthur, Grace/Carolina, Grace/Domi, Aki/Christopher, Arthur/Christopher, and Domi/Cliff.

Request 4
Fandom: The Final Girls (2015)
Requested Characters: Gertie Michaels, Max Cartwright, Vicki Summers

Optional Details: I really love the humor, and the weird metafiction elements, and the over-the-top splattery deaths of this movie. For this request I'm most interested in seeing something set post-canon, whether it picks up immediately where canon left off or is set further into the future for the characters. How do Gertie, Max, and Vicki deal with being trapped in Camp Bloodbath 2: Cruel Summer? Is it any easier or more difficult to play with the rules of the world they're in or change the events of the movie from what it originally was? Thanks to the changes they made to the first Camp Bloodbath movie, did Nancy somehow survive/get resurrected for the sequel like all the "real" characters did, and if so, how does everyone, especially Max, react to that? Fighting their way through the first Camp Bloodbath helped fix Vicki's broken friendship with Max and Gertie; how does that continue to progress in Camp Bloodbath 2 or 3 or howevermany sequels they have to get through? Do they ever have to fight any killers other than Billy Murphy? Or what happens after they they get through all the Camp Bloodbath movies any of them have seen, only to discover there's still a new unreleased direct to video sequel they still need to somehow survive without the benefit of any of them knowing the story this time? Do they ever discover exactly how/why they were able to fall into a work of fiction? Or what happens if/when they finally get back into the real world? Is it even possible to go back to normal after something like that, either mentally or physically? Or do they discover they are still stuck obeying horror genre rules in the real world, with all the benefits and drawbacks that entails?

Feel free to go as light and funny or as weird and meta or as dark and bloody with this one as you want. Also feel free to either leave the story all about the friendships or, if you want to go for romance, I would be happy to see Gertie, Max, and Vicki shipped with each other in any possible combination including OT3. I would also be happy with Max/Chris. Or, if you wanted to include a background aside about Duncan somehow seducing Billy Murphy through fanboy enthusiasm, thus removing Billy's unkillable virgin status and/or redeeming him through the power of love, that would be cool too.

Request 5
Fandom: Justified
Requested Characters: Loretta McCready, Raylan Givens

Optional Details: I would love to see anything about these two at any point either during the series or beyond. I love how Raylan alternates between protector, authority figure, and accomplice when it comes to Loretta and how in some matters Loretta is wise beyond her years but in other matters she really, really isn't. Do they get each other into or out of trouble, either on purpose or by accident? Does Raylan need to go after Loretta in his capacity as a US Marshal at some future date due to her aspirations of becoming the weed queen of Kentucky? Or does she find a new career path to follow and they run into each other in some completely unexpected part of the world? Or do they need to spend a night in a Marshal safe house for whatever reason and pass the time by alternately having heartfelt conversations and sassing each other just because in between bouts of arguing over what to watch on TV? Or maybe contrast times Raylan managed to be a good influence on Loretta versus times he was a bad one, or times Loretta was a good influence on Raylan versus times she was a bad one. If you wanted to go a little further afield in your story premise, I would also love to see a role-reversal/age-reversal AU where Loretta is the slightly world-weary adult returning to Harlan after years away and Raylan (and maybe Boyd?) is the troublemaking teenager but their backstories are kept close to what we know of them from canon beyond shifting their personal timelines.

This is one of my "I love everyone in this bar!" fandoms, so feel free to bring in any canon characters you want (the heroic ones, the morally gray ones, the villainous ones, I loved them all) for supporting roles. I would prefer for Loretta and Raylan's relationship remain platonic/gen. Feel free to ship Raylan with whoever else you want as long as it doesn't go against my incest DNW and doesn't take too much of the story focus away from the Raylan & Loretta relationship. Or you could leave him single I don't really ship Loretta with any other canon character, but feel free to give her an OC girlfriend or boyfriend or leave her single as you see fit.
