Dear Ship Swap Author,
I'm still working on my letter. I hope to have it finished before Feb. 14, but if for some reason I don't, then feel free to write whatever you want.
Edit 9pm, 2/14: I'm still working on it. I hope to have everything finished later tonight, but in the meantime, here is what I have so far.

Optional Details:
For Murphy/Hammond, they had such an interesting dynamic where Murphy was technically Hammond's prisoner but Hammond put Murphy's survival ahead of his own. I would love to see something set during the time between when Hammond goes back to rescue Murphy and when we next see the two of them drift up in the boat, maybe some hurt/comfort with Hammond trying to help Murphy recover from all the zombie bites. Alternatively, I would love to see a canon-divergent AU where Hammond survives and travels with the group instead of getting killed by the zombie baby, and how Hammond being in a relationship with Murphy might change subsequent events in the series.
With the other nominated relationships, for me it's all about the competence, kicking zombie ass and taking names while trying to carve out some time for the more tender side of human interactions. For Roberta/Charles, I'd love to see something about how they went from co-workers, to friends, to being in love. I also wouldn't mind a divergent AU where Charles didn't need to take a bullet for Murphy.
For Roberta/Cassandra or 10K/Cassandra, I really want to see something that deals with the events of the season finale and their aftermath, especially if it's at least partly from Cassandra's POV. How does the bite and everything that goes with it change her relationship with either 10K or Roberta? Feel free to handwave a solution for the nukes if you don't want to deal with them, because it's the human/zombie/hybrid issues that interest me most.

I'm really hoping that Richelieu faked his death so he could go off and take care of some spy stuff he couldn't trust to anyone else, and even if he didn't, I wouldn't mind you incorporating it into a canon-divergent AU if we matched on a ship with him in it.
Richelieu/Treville - These two have such a history together that them ending up as frenemies with benefits doesn't seem like such a stretch of the imagination. Maybe they bond over the fact that no one else understands the pressures of command and advising the king. Even if they don't like each other, they both recognize and appreciate competence when they see it. Either backstory or something set during the show would be great.
Treville/d'Artagnan/Richelieu - Somehow Treville and Richelieu each figuratively trying to seduce d'Artagnan to their side becomes Treville and Richelieu each literally trying to seduce d'Artagnan to their side, which in turn somehow becomes a threesome, and none of them want to be the first one to call it quits. This would be equally great as crack or played straight.
Richelieu/Treville/Louis XIII - Pretty much the same as above, or maybe Louis wants to see how far Richelieu and Treville will go in their competition to win his favor, and a good time ends up being had by all.
Porthos/Flea - These two just seemed really adorable together. I'd be equally happy seeing them in their younger years or something after they have gotten back in touch and are both older and wiser and need to navigate the obstacles presented by their differing positions in society. (And I would love to see Flea become the new ruler of the Court of Miracles.)
Louis XIII/Richelieu - Louis depends on Richelieu for everything. Everything. As long it appears to be in the best interest of France, Richelieu is happy to oblige.
d'Artagnan/Constance Bonacieux/M. Bonacieux - This is one where I want to see the love triangle solved with a threesome. Maybe Constance tells her husband, "Don't think of it as losing your woman; think of it as gaining a boy," and then the three of them manage to negotiate something mutually satisfying (possibly with Constance introducing the guys to pegging followed by she and her husband spit-roasting d'Artagnan, just a thought). Or maybe d'Artagnan and Constance drag M. Bonacieux along on an adventure and he ends up enjoying it despite himself.

Please give me an alternate universe where, instead of Toole killing himself, they manage to talk things out and end up in some kind of triad with Elam and Toole both working together to make Eva (and possibly each other) happy.

Does sleeping with your alternate universe counterpart still count as selfcest if he looks nothing like you? And what do you do when you discover that your counterpart's plans and goals might not be as similar to your own as you first thought? Feel free to throw in either or both sets of musketeers for added complications if you so desire.
Porthos/Buffy Summers - I don't care if you throw Buffy back in time, throw Porthos forward, or displace both of them so that they meet somewhere/when in the middle. I just feel like Buffy could really do with a guy who dedicates himself to a career of fighting the good fight but still retains his humanity (both literal and figurative), his sense of humor, and his love of life, while Porthos would probably adore having a girlfriend who would not only be willing to fight by his side but could also do way more damage than him without even breaking a sweat. Feel free to either include or ignore the French/English language barrier according to your preference.
Peter Grant/Kath Collingswood - Peter is the cop who stumbled into magic use, while Kath is the magic user who happened to end up as a cop. Together they're a study in contrasts and similarities. I would love to see them alternate between getting squeefully scientific about each other's magic techniques and clashing over their policing styles. Would Kath hate the fact that experience has left Peter immune to her glamour/knack for controlling people, or would she be relieved to know that he definitely got together with her of his own free will? Casefic would be awesome, but a thousand words of the two of them discussing ways to combine knacking with Newtonian magic would be just as good. Or they could go on a date followed by an exploration of magic as applied to an enjoyable sex life.
Mattie Ross/Will Evans - Both went on life-changing journeys involving the death of their fathers when they were fourteen, and I feel like Mattie's no nonsense practicality and Will's idealistic adventurousness and both of their high levels of determination would make for them being a great couple as adults (I don't recall exactly how the timelines match up, but I think it works out to Mattie being a few years older than Will but not a lot). Also, I think that once Will heard what Mattie went through then he would just think that she was generally awesome and would act accordingly, so any story that brings them together would be wonderful. Do they meet on their own, or are figures from either of their pasts involved? Are there more adventures to be had for the two of them, or is attempting to settle down and make a life together adventure enough?
Applejack/Comet - Does Comet love Applejack because she gives him green apples, or does he love green apples because they remind him of Applejack? How did they meet? When they're apart, do they write letters back and forth detailing their various adventures, and if so how are they delivered? How often do they get to see each other? What are their dates like? Does Comet visit Ponyville or does Applejack visit California (or wherever Comet happens to be in any given episode)? Does Applejack or any of the other ponies think it's weird that Comet spends so much time talking with humans? Does the Orb secretly function on the same principle as unicorn magic? Does Comet get cutie mark? I find the idea of Applejack/Comet to be adorable, but I'd rather not read any graphic sex scenes with them.
Granny Weatherwax/Steve Rogers - I don't even know where this pairing came from, but I saw it in the tag set and couldn't resist asking for it just to see what might happen. I'm not super keen on AUs where they both grew up on the same planet, but I would love to see Steve get transported to Discworld or Granny get transported to Earth. Either way, romance ensues! Go ahead and adjust the ages some if you want, but I would prefer if you didn't make Granny much younger than middleage, just because her long life experience is part of what makes the charaacter so interesting to me.

Does Applejack or any of the other ponies think it's weird that Comet spends so much time talking with humans? Does the Orb secretly function on the same principle as unicorn magic? Does Comet get cutie mark? I find the idea of Applejack/Comet to be adorable, but I'd rather not read any graphic sex scenes with them.
Granny Weatherwax/Steve Rogers - I don't even know where this pairing came from, but I saw it in the tag set and couldn't resist asking for it just to see what might happen. I'm not super keen on AUs where they both grew up on the same planet, but I would love to see Steve get transported to Discworld or Granny get transported to Earth. Either way, romance ensues! Go ahead and adjust the ages some if you want, but I would prefer if you didn't make Granny much younger than middleage, just because her long life experience is part of what makes the charaacter so interesting to me.
